At first sight, i loved the place. Especially through the tour it was lovely, but then it all went downhill the day of moving in…. The apartment was no cleaned upon my move in date. I had to clean behind the people that was there before me.. Then, my rent went from $700 something to almost $1k. I called and ask why because I’m hardly ever home. I was told that they don't know why. The “utility fees” aren’t itemized so I can’t see what im being charged for. Why am I being charged almost A THOUSAND DOLLARS a month for a private bedroom with a shared living space with a stranger? I’m definitely not one to complain… I keep my peace, but this is outlandish and I’m beginning to get irritated.
I haven’t even moved into the apartment ! today was suppose to be my move in day, but the apartment was trash ! i have videos, but you can only post pictures. and on top of that the lease does not state that each person has to pay a certain amount ! it has one solid price ! now all of a sudden there can’t be two to a room when i told them i was moving with my boyfriend . this whole process is a mess it’s a lot more to say but just know this is not the place to go . 0/10000
I had a frustrating experience regarding billing issues with the management. Today, I received an email from Auden labeled "urgent". Upon checking, I discovered outstanding bills. I logged into the resident portal and found a $150 late fee.
I immediately visited the leasing office to inquire about the discrepancy. They informed me about a communication fee I was supposed to pay in August. I pointed out that when I paid my first month's rent, there was no such fee listed. Moreover, I wasn't notified of any additions to my bill. I wasn’t even aware that rent was due on the first day of each month. The only email I received regarding my rent was on August 28th, and it didn’t convey any sense of urgency. They had various methods to notify me – email, text, or call – yet they chose inaction and then penalized me with a late fee. It feels like a bank not informing you about your credit card due date. Especially as an international resident, I'm not familiar with all the leasing protocols.
In the end, while the management did waive the late fee for August, they declined to do so for September, leaving me unaware and still burdened with an undue $45 charge.
I once held the management in high regard, trusting them to guide me through unfamiliar territories, but my confidence in their reliability has waned.
I have lived here for a while now and I love it. Best option for college students or anybody just needing a place to live. It’s really nice very clean Great staff. Just overall amazing.
STAFF DOES NOT CARE ABOUT WOMEN SAFTEY!!!!
There is no reason as to why when some one complains about someone from maintenance, the front desk people name drops a specific person (if they know who the problem is, do soemthing about it). It is even more concerning when other staff from this complex agrees that a certain maintenance member has “loose screws” and suggest we get a camera. Within two days of living here, there has been evident proof that some one has not only kicked and broken my door; but also turned off lights (no one has been home either times). I now have to spend $250 on cameras because I don’t feel safe and no one cares!
I’ve been living in Auden since August and I have seen the improvement with management. The leasing office has been doing well with keeping the community engaged with its residents, by continuing to have events throughout the year. I’m excited to see how Auden will grow over the next few years.
Disorganized management. Make sure to document all the payments you give to them. They will make you pay for a security deposit that will be "returned" to you and then have no paperwork on file for it when you move out.
Had the pleasure of working with Maurice to resolve some issues I was having with my account. He was eager to help and answered all the questions I had. He is truly the best.
